Software Implementation / Pre-Sales

This London SaaS firm, based close to Oxford Circus is seeking an Application (Placed)

This role will involve project Management and consultancy to assist clients with the Implementation of the Software application. This will include onsite visits with clients, software configuration and documentation, training and interaction with clients

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully manage projects requiring technical and practical knowledge
  • Ensure projects are delivered with clear and measurable return on investment
  • Manage all phases of the software implementation process using inhouse project methodologies
  • Conduct configuration workshops with clients, document all agreed configuration and outline the new business processes for the customer
  • Configure the solution including organisation structure, employee migration, interfaces, pay rules and other configuration elements as per the client’s documented requirements
  • Identify customer training needs and conduct client training programs
  • Conduct onsite project handover and review meetings with clients ensuring that all milestones are signed off and the customer is handed over to support
  • Record all consultancy provided on the implementation of all projects and manage projects to time and budget
  • Liaise with the development team to identify additional software functionality to enhance the product offering
  • Assist in the software configuration for Demos to prospective clients
  • Participate in prospective client onsite demos and workshops
  • Seek additional client opportunities and services from existing and prospective clients

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The Software Implementation Consultant candidate must be a skilled communicator with proven software implementation experience and customer service skills. Exceptional writing and reading skills are required to provide appropriate support for on boarding new clients and have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads across multiple projects.

IT Skills – A high level of IT knowledge with a particular emphasis on;

  • Previous experience with application software and integration between various software systems
  • Sound knowledge of SQL
  • Working knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,Project)
  • Basic knowledge of IT network infrastructure
  • Understanding of clocking hardware would be an asset
  • Basic understanding of API would be desirable
