Successful, established insurance firm seeking 4x IT Support 365 ITIL Service Desk candidates. Strong communication skills, London based.
Salary range £25-30k and good benefits. Location: Fenchurch Street. London.
The Main focus for the role is:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Maintaining desktop computers, laptops, desk phones, Supporting the roll-out of new applications
- Supporting Office 365 products
- Provide IT Inductions for all new starters in the London offices•
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by management
IT & Telecoms Support
•Taking staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
investigating IT problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
•Replacing computer components as required
•Providing support to all levels of staff, including writing process documents and relevant reports
•Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
•Responding within agreed time limits to support requests
•Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
•Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
•Documenting and managing work using Servicedesk
•Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with other employees
•Willingness to work flexible hours at times, based on needs
Compliance & Training
•Adhere to all company & regulatory policies and procedures as instructed
•Carry out all training provided to deadlines prescribed
•Work with compliance on IT relevant areas such as Data Security and Financial Crime
•Execute the responsibilities of a company employee acting in a lawful and ethical manner in accordance with your contract of employment and company staff handbook.
•Work with department manager for own professional development, including performance appraisal and identifying and meeting training needs in order to ensure competence and compliance with FCA regulations
