Based at London Euston are looking for a digital technologist /future CTO!! (Placed)
This is an interesting varied role, technical business analysis, ecommerce technology management, troubleshooting, analytics, requirements gathering, writing scopes and acceptance criteria, managing hosting infrastructure and security, supporting digital marketing (tracking, measurement, solution design), SEO, performance optimisation, developer management, testing and UAT, digital innovation, etc. Should be a great job for somebody with a good Computer Science degree, a few years’ hardcore web programming, super bright with great communication skills and analytical ability.
Requirements:
- Experience writing and working with software requirements and acceptance criteria
- Experience in software testing (manually) including development of test plans and scripts
- Familiarity with the web and mobile technology stack, ideally a mix of frontend and backend.
- Understand the basics of web hosting and delivery (DNS, HTTP, SSL, monitoring systems, firewalls, load balancers)
- Experience working with issue tracking systems (Jira, Redmine or similar)
- Previous exposure to agile projects and methodologies
Bonus points for:
- Working knowledge of software and application security
- Test automation
- Content Management Systems, especially Sitecore
- Experience with web analytics and tagging solutions
- Programming and web development background, especially HTML, CSS, Javascript, .Net
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Experience managing or developing apps
- Personalisation, AB testing, website performance optimisation
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, data manipulation and analysis
