We are seeking a Senior Lending Business Analyst (BA) with deep expertise in lending products, operational processes, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across mortgages, bridging finance, and development finance, with the capability to define, enhance, and standardize product features and operational workflows.The successful candidate will also be forward-thinking, able to anticipate future client and industry needs, and contribute to delivering scalable, efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lending Expertise & Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of how lending products are structured and sold, including mortgages, bridging loans, and development finance.
- Knowledge of loan servicing and broader lending operational processes.
- Awareness of industry trends, regulatory considerations, and best practices.
Business & Product Analysis
- Define product features and break them down into manageable, deliverable components.
- Develop and maintain standardized templates for selling lending products.
- Define user workflows and produce managerial-level process overviews.
- Design and implement dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
- Present internal business cases for new product functionality.
Client Engagement & Product Support
- Partner closely with clients throughout the lending product sales cycle.
- Support clients across all stages of their journey, including:
- Pre-Sales
- Scoping
- Onboarding
- Product Feature Development
- Product Standardisation
- Support & Maintenance
Operational & Process Improvement
- Ensure consistent, templated, and scalable lending product rollouts.
- Build industry-centric product features instead of bespoke client-specific solutions.
- Enhance self-service capabilities to reduce ongoing maintenance efforts.
- Drive operational efficiency to support business growth.
