Location: London / Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lending Business Analyst with strong knowledge of mortgages, bridging finance, development finance and loan servicing, ideally gained within a lending technology or FinTech environment.
Working closely with clients, product teams and developers, you will gather requirements, define lending workflows, shape product enhancements and drive the standardisation of scalable lending solutions. Experience with Finova Lending is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document and analyse business requirements.
- Define lending workflows, user journeys and operational processes.
- Break down complex requirements into clear user stories and deliverables.
- Develop product features and support roadmap initiatives.
- Design dashboards, MI reporting and performance metrics.
- Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder meetings.
- Support clients through pre-sales, onboarding, implementation and ongoing optimisation.
- Promote standardised, scalable solutions rather than bespoke developments.
Required Experience
- Proven Business Analyst experience within lending or financial services.
- Strong understanding of mortgage, bridging and development finance products.
- Experience with lending platforms, ideally Finova Lending.
- Excellent documentation, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build business cases and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Desirable
- Experience with ClickUp.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Product Owner or product management exposure.
- Knowledge of loan origination and servicing platforms.
